Jessica is a Central New York native who obtained her bachelors in Human Development from Binghamton University (2004) and Masters of Social Work from Syracuse University (2009). She has over a decade of experience providing social work services to youth, adolescents, adults, and families in the Southern Tier. Much of her experience involves working with those who have experienced interpersonal/familial violence (including dating or sexual violence), involvement in child welfare, family court and criminal Justice.
My approach prioritizes the individual's needs, focusing on identity exploration, life transitions, and overall well-being enhancement. Creating a safe, nonjudgmental space is integral to my practice. I believe in empowering clients to direct their counseling journey, fostering self-advocacy and empowerment throughout our sessions. With a strengths-based approach, focusing on empowering and fostering resilience; I will work in partnership with your goals integrating therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing, DBT, CBT and/or REBT.
**Costs and Insurance**
The initial session is priced at $175, while subsequent sessions are $150 for a 53-minute duration. We are in-network with Excellus BlueCross Blue Shield; if you have a different insurance provider, you will need to pay out of pocket.
